HOW TO HOLD A FOOD & FUND DRIVE

 

1. Decide what your food & fund drive will look like. A competition at your work? A one-time collection at an event? A collection outside grocery stores or in your neighborhood? Be creative – it's up to you!

2. Do you want to collect food, funds or both? For every $1 you collect Food Lifeline can feed a family of four. You can use our convenient donation envelopes or our secure online Virtual Food Drive.

4. Register your Food & Fund Drive using the button below!

5. Use the materials found in the Coordinator’s Tool Kit. After you register your drive, a link on the confirmation page to these helpful tools will assist in the success of your drive.

6. Hold your Food & Fund Drive. Rally your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors together and bring in food and funds to provide meals for hungry families.

7. Deliver your donation to Food Lifeline’s Shoreline Repack Center. By dropping off your collected food, you maximize the value of your donation and keep our trucks on the road getting food out to hungry people. If you have collected 500 pounds or more and cannot deliver it yourself, you can arrange for a Food Lifeline pickup by contacting our Special Events Coordinator.
